Hydraulically Operated Post Driver
Hydro - Series 1 - Tractor auxiliary hydraulics required.

This machine was developed for properties where the soil conditions are considered as average to quite good. Dairy farmers with river flats and ridge country on the coast and hinterland prefer this machine. It is compact enough to fit a mid range tractor and store in the shed.
So for smaller properties this machine is ideal. If however your tractor is not equipped with external remote hydraulics our PTO cable machine would also be ideal in this situation.

The Hydro - Series 1 comes standard with a mechanical winding action to allow for angling. Tilting action is by way of the tractors top link.

This compact machine is ideally suited to driving 6' (1.8m) split timber posts,
7' (2.1m) timber strainers, coppered poles, star pickets, pipe and any other item designed for or capable of being a post.
The finished height of the driven post will be approximately 4' (1.2m) above ground level.
(Our standard machines will not drive a post right down to ground level.)

Hydraulic angle and tilt rams.
Hydraulic auger attachment with a selection of drill sizes.
The principal function of the auger attachment is to drill pilot holes prior to driving posts in hard ground. In most situations where the soil type is considered average an auger would not be required.
