4.2m (14') from under the fully raised weight to ground level.
This machine was developed for properties where the soil conditions would be considered as hard.
For farmers of the western table lands country, cattle properties in NSW and Queensland have found this machine ideal.
With an impact in excess of 1000kg at 1.8 meters this machine means business.
Deer fencing and other taller structures are easily achieved with a Series III.
This tall machine is ideally suited to driving railway line, pipe, large steel posts, wooden split posts and large strainers. There is still enough control to drive star pickets (including 2.4 meter {8'} )
The finished height of the driven post will be approximately 1.2m( 4') above ground level.
Our standard machines will not drive a post below 1.0 meter.
For situations such as sheep yard construction we can easily alter this finishing height to suit the application.
Pilot holes? In most situations pilot holes are not necessary with the big hit of the Series III -14.
The only consideration may be the structural capabilities of the posts.
Coppered pine poles may require a pilot hole in hard ground.
A straight line and firm posts is achieveable without pilot holes.
The Hydro - Series III comes standard with a mechanical winding action to allow for angling. Tilting action is by way of the tractors top link.
