Series II
Standard PTO operated cable and winch system.
14' - 4.26 meters under the weight when fully raised.
Drive split posts, strainers, steel posts, pipe and more with ease and accuracy.

A winch and cable system is a very efficient way of operating a post driver.

For tractors not fitted with hydraulic couplings a cable machine is the way to go. An operational three point linkage, top link and PTO is all that is required. These machines do not require a lot of horsepower and run efficiently at a fast idle. The only consideration being the weight balance with smaller tractors (unless it is fitted with a front end loader).
Extra weight can be added to the front of the tractor to compensate the imbalance.

These machines will perform every bit as well as a hydraulically operated post driver matching hit for hit.

The use of quality & strength in our cables and belts make for a long lasting maintenance free machine. Cable life can be greatly extended with good operation. In saying this even operators with no experience will drive 1000's of posts with little or no maintenance required.
The smooth and easy to operate clutch gives enough control to gently tap posts to finish at the right height.

Positive post clamping ensures the post goes in straight and tight. It is also designed to take railway line, steel pickets or pipe.
Sealed bearings, durable paint and certified steel components means that our machines can go without grease, reside outside under the 'big blue shed' and perform just as well.

Post pointing is not required.
Why throw away good wood? Cutting long sharp points on post may make them go in more easily with some other manufacturers drivers. We believe that posts need as much wood in the ground as possible to increase life expectancy. For large strainers in hard conditions a short, 4 sided but blunt point (100 -120mm) may drive the post more easily. Under these circumstances strainers should be ordered with extra length to compensate.

Note: We are morally obligated not to fit drivers to tractors we deem unsuitable for this purpose.
